We are delighted to be helping CommUNITY Barnet by donating a laptop to their Digital Poverty Campaign.
CommUNITY Barnet launched their campaign to end digital poverty at the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and so far have raised £2000 through Crowdfunding to ensure that local schoolchildren can access school online. As well as raising money and being supported by mobile phone companies, they are also collecting laptops and other unwanted technology from businesses and the general public to donate to schools in Barnet. These will be given to pupils who are having the most difficulty accessing online education. Once donated, the laptops and devices will then be wiped and refurbished before they are distributed to the schools that have requested the charity’s help.
